About Elmicom Connect
Elmicom is a family-owned business, in operation in the Southern Cape since 2003. We focus on enterprise customers, and service firms across the spectrum, from small one man businesses, to large, networked solutions.
The business was established as an exclusive Siemens Telecommunications dealership, but has since expanded its product range to include a variety of other suppliers.
From pure telephony supplier, we have had to change with the times and now offer converged telecommunications solutions, encompassing traditional telephony and digital IP platforms.
We offer cost saving VOIP solutions, as well as internet and wifi. Our cabling skills include tradition telephony, converged telephony, and IT cabling.
Our Product and Services
Telephony
We offer hybrid PABX systems that cater for traditional telephony switching, combined with IP telephony switching. This allows for a cost-effective transition into IP telephony, especially in environments where large investments exist in traditional telephone instruments
IP and hosted telephony
We have various options available for pure IP telephony and also have various hosted solutions, that sell on a monthly rental basis, for customers that do not want to make a capital investment in telephony
Cabling
Our teams are able to cable CAT 3 and CAT 5 infrastructure.
VOIP (Voice Over IP)
We utilize platforms of two Reunert Ltd subsidiaries for incoming and outgoing VOIP switching, enabling us to offer redundancy. We partner with firms that have ongoing research and development budgets in their field of expertise
